Look's earlier newsletters informed readers about a "Dig for Victory" at the allotment in St. James Park. The Dig for Victory Harvest Fair takes place at the allotment on 29/30 September. See www.royalparks.org.uk/events for all the fun things to do including farm animals to pet, crafting miniature scarecrows, jam making and pickling, by actors in 1940's costume. There's something for all ages - including grandparents!!
The Little Angel Theatre is a puppet theatre which holds a Saturday Puppet Club and family fun days, where the children can also play with puppets and create their own dramas. From 14th September to 28th October they are presenting "Give us a Hand" a delightful show featuring long stringed puppets that are rarely seen these days.
