Hello again Newsletter Readers!

Well, Christmas is only a few weeks away, so in this newsletter Granny Look hopes to be able to help you make sure Christmas is very special for you and your grandchildren (as well as Mums and Dads!) by giving you lots of information about where to go, what to buy, how to find special gifts and lots more.....

CHRISTMAS IS CARDS, CRACKERS, CALENDARS, CAKES, BUT MOST OF ALL FOR GRANDPARENTS IT'S GRANDCHILDREN!

For a great selection of toys & games, creative fun things, and special present ideas go to www.gltc.co.uk and see all their Christmas offerings to help you have a great family Christmas.

Toys are always top of the list for Christmas! If you want to find a "top notch" toy for your grandchildren this year have a look at www.familyrapp.com where you'll find the Top Best Toys for 2007 (as suggested by the Toy Retailers Association).

They are listed by ages and categories. Maybe you will even see something that your grandchild hasn't yet found for their list - then it will be really special and they'll be cool to their friends because they have a Top Ten Toy!!

Is there anyone (even grandparents!) who can't wait to open that little window on an Advent Calendar every morning from December 1st? Granny Look has been searching for some unusual, amusing and special Advent Calendars. Check them out at www.advent-calendar.org You can look for felt, chocolate, Lego and even hanging elves for each day in which you can put your own little gift! Help children around the world and get your Advent Calendar from Unicef - you'll find that here too, as well as a great range of Cards, Calendars and Diaries.

What fun to make an Advent Calendar with your grandchildren (or you could make one as a surprise!). At www.santaspostbag.co.uk there are full details of how to do this along with loads of other Christmas things to make - like decorations, gifts, cookies and other edibles, printables and lots more fun stuff!

PARTY PLANNING, PERSONALISED ITEMS AND POPULAR TOYS

Perhaps one of your grandchildren has a birthday this Christmas and you are planning a party for them. You've got your Christmas organising to do as well, so why not get some help with your party? Let your grandchildren have a look themselves at what's available from www.letterboxparties.co.uk and they can "design" their own party! Then all you'll have to do is order - they have everything from books about baking and the birthday banquet, to presents and party themes (including fancy dress) - what could be simpler!

There is nothing more special than a personalised gift - particularly for children. Their friends may receive something similar from Father Christmas but your grandchildren will know you wrote to him to make sure he delivered the right one - because it will have their name on! At www.thekidswindow.co.uk baubles, books, toys, tops & photoframes are just a few that can be personalised.

Help your grandchildren to buy that present for a special someone. From www.gettingpersonal.co.uk they will be able to choose from a wide range of personalised gifts for everyone - teddy bears, candles, cards, crackers and crockery - to name just a few!

There's also a section on Gifts for Grandparents so you may see something you would like Father Christmas to bring you - but the grandchildren will have to get Mum or Dad to order it!

Toys are always top of the list for children so Granny Look thought you would like some helpful information if you are buying toys this Christmas. It is always good to buy learning toys as gifts and www.vtechuk.com is a very informative site about inspired toys designed to make learning easy. You can look for toys by ages (starting from birth) and they have all the children's favourites - Bob the Builder, Dora the Exlorer etc. Why not join the Vtech Club free and then you will receive exclusive benefits, special updates and offers only open to Vtech members?

www.toys.about.com This US website has lots of details about Top Toys of 2007 - for girls and boys. Whichever age group your grandchildren fall into, you'll find the top toys for that category. Anything you want to know about toys you should see here - from special offers to hot toy releases and news, as well as ideas for activities that are fun as well as good for your family.

Don't forget that on the Home Page of www.grannylook.com there are lots of Christmas categories to look through. She hopes they will help you find what you were looking for.

That's all for now.......back in December.......
