SPRING THINGS

Easter is over but Spring has only just started - time to think about warmer weather, birds & butterflies, flowers & fun filled days and holidays - all things that Spring means to everyone young and old. As parents and grandparents you might be starting to plan what to do with your grandchildren over the next few months until those lazy, hazy days of summer are here.

Surely the first sign for the start of Spring is April 1st - April Fool's Day! Many children - and even some grown ups - still like to play tricks so why not go to http://familyfun.go.com and see all the April Foolery you and your grandchildren could get up to!

At www.kidsturncentral.com/links/aprfoolslinks.htm there's all sorts of "April Fools Day" things to try, cards to make, and history to read about.

With the dark winter nights, maybe it's a while since your grandchildren saw some of their friends so why not get spring off to a good start and invite them all to a sleepover?

www.kaboose.com/features/sleepover/sleepover.html has lots of ideas for sleepover parties, games, movies, breakfast fun and even a "Sorta" sleepover suggestion for children too young to sleep over!

There are some great sleepover crafts at www.kidsmaskfactory.com/sleepoverpartycrafts.php

If you don't have enough beds to go around, have a look at www.snugglesac.co.uk/default.asp for a great range of sacs, snugs, crash beds, play tents and much more!
